If I am here, you make more money.

That statement was one of my favorite ways to get the owner of any business to pay attention to what I had to say.  I had the advantage of being able to sell in an environment that I knew without a doubt that I could add profits to the bottom line of any company.  I was also bold enough to deliver both the statement and the “goods” every time.[lightbox link=”https://jeffcwest.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/show-me-the-money.jpg” thumb=”https://jeffcwest.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/show-me-the-money.jpg” width=”300″ align=”right” title=”show me the money” frame=”true” icon=”image” caption=””]

There were many times in which I could show a company owner specific dollars that would come their way as a direct result of doing business with me.  There were other times in which the value was a bit more intrinsic.  But either way – I knew my value proposition.
