From Nathan in New York…
A young lady was boarding the subway with her small child early one morning.
As she struggled to get the stroller, her purse and her bundle of joy onto the train, a smelly old drunkard looked at her and said, “Whew! That is the ugliest baby I have ever seen in my life! They shouldn’t even let children like that out in public!”
The lady was totally caught off guard by the man’s rudeness.
As she finally made her way to the last seat on the train and got settled in, she told the man in the next seat, “That man was so rude to me!” she said as she hugged her baby closely.
“I’ve a good mind to go give him a piece of my mind!”
“I think you should.” replied the man. “I’ll be glad to hold your monkey for you while you do.”
