Do you consider yourself an expert?  Or do you think of yourself as more of an educator?

Sometimes you must guide a prospect in the conversation that helps them to think through the issues they are facing and how you may be a solution for them.  There are other times when you must be partnering with your existing clients to find new methods that will keep their business ahead of the curve in this ever changing market.

Do you have to be an expert in order to provide that insight?

Most people are not experts on everything.  Even though your mother may think you actually are – your spouse will know the truth.

Since we can’t be experts on everything it may be helpful to think of your role in a different way.
