I have been one of those freaky sales people who really enjoyed cold calling. I know, that makes me quite unusual if you look at the percentages. However, the reasons that I enjoyed it were simple. I was prepared. I never sounded scripted, even though I said almost the same things each time. I was goal oriented, and knew what my desired outcome was on every call. Most importantly (at least to me), I was determined to have fun with it all.
