One of the things that has made me so proud about my relationship with Aflac over the years has been the support given by the company and the field sales team to The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  If memory serves, the combined total of our donations over the 15-20 years is getting close to $100,000,000.  My wife, Laurie, and I have been donors for years because we consider it one of the very best causes we can support.

Company and individual philanthropy is a very worthwhile thing to do.  It is also great in your marketing efforts.  Cause marketing – pairing your sales results with helping your favorite charity – accomplishes two great things at the same time.  It accomplishes something meaningful and creates a bond between you and your customers.
