Why do some people succeed in life while others do not?

That question has puzzled people for centuries.  You can teach the exact same concepts to a group of people at the exact same time.  Thus everyone gets the same information and the same opportunity.  And yet when it is all said and done – some will go out and succeed with the information, but not all.

My more liberal friends will immediately try to blame that lack of success on factors that are not within the control of the individual.    I don’t buy into that mentality.  I am convinced that two people doing the same thing at the same time and with the same skill set should get equal results.

To me it comes down to the choices we make.  We make business and career choices.  We make choices as to how we dress.  We make choices as to how hard we work to develop our skills.

One overlooked choice that we make is our attitude.  That shows up most in the vocabulary of a winner.

I read a great post by Dan Waldschmidt on this very subject recently.  I thought you would enjoy it as well.

Take a look 🙂
