The President of the company brought a young man into his office for an evaluation.
“You have had a great start with our company. You started in the mailroom. In one week, you were promoted to the position of mailroom supervisor. One month later, you were moved to the sales team. Two months after that, you were promoted to National Sales Manager.”
The President continued, “And now, as I have decided to retire, my last act as company president is to promote you into my position so that you can lead the company after I am gone. So, what do you have to say?”
The young man replied,“Thanks Dad!”
